Born in a small village along the iconic Everest route, I grew up immersed in the world of travelers, as my family ran a guest house that welcomed adventurers from all corners of the globe. From a young age, I began helping as a porter on the trek to Namche (3440m), and it was during these journeys that I discovered my true passion, connecting with people and sharing the wonders of the Himalayas. With Globe Escapades, I’m thrilled to offer you personalized experiences that showcase the magic of this incredible region, from scenic hiking circuits and cultural heritage tours to thrilling high-altitude expeditions, yoga retreats, cycling, climbing, and rafting. For over 20 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore the world with nothing more than a backpack, carving my own paths through some of Asia’s most hidden gems. But it was Morocco that truly captured my heart. Each visit is a profound reminder of the boundless warmth of the Berber people, their deep sense of family, and the beauty of life’s simple joys. The way families come together, share stories, and offer hospitality has deeply resonated with me, reinforcing the importance of connection and community. These experiences have not only filled me with happiness but have also shaped the values of authenticity, gratitude, and unity that I hold dear. Now, alongside my son Louis, I’m thrilled to share these unforgettable journeys with others through Globe Escapades, offering the opportunity to experience the warmth and spirit of Morocco’s families, as well as its breathtaking landscapes.
