Morocco
Morocco is a North African country at the crossroads of Europe and Africa, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Algeria, and Western Sahara. Its diverse geography includes coastal plains, the Rif and Atlas Mountains, high plateaus, and the Sahara Desert. The capital is Rabat, and Casablanca is the largest city and economic center. Other major cities include Marrakech, Fès, Tangier, and Agadir. With around 37 million people, Morocco is a constitutional monarchy blending Arab, Berber (Amazigh), African, and European influences. Arabic and Tamazight are official languages, with French widely used. Its strategic location, rich culture, and scenic variety make Morocco one of Africa’s most accessible and unique destinations.
